Daltoosh Claims Dr Disrespect Is “Not Better” Than Him: Report

It is not surprising to see rivalry in gaming. Fans have witnessed many streamers like iiTzTimmy compete in many professional tournaments. But now a new rivalry is brewing between two streamers: Daltoosh and Dr Disrespect. But this rivalry may not be in the gaming field as many fans would think.

For those who don’t know Daltoosh is a streamer for the eSports organization TSM. He streams mainly games like Apex Legends. On the other hand Dr Disrespect has made a name for himself with his mastery of FPS games. However, the two gamers are competing in an entirely different category.

In a latest build up, many gaming streamers started playing golf in a Lexus-Esports Awards 2023 event. Many gamers such as Daltoosh and fatal1ty were also present.

In between the matches, Daltoosh was asked the question, “Who is the best golfer who is also a gamer?”

Daltoosh thought about it, remarking about the number of golfers who are also gamers. After pondering long and hard DAltoosh presented Nadeshot as the best golfer-gamer. He is the founder of 100 Thieves. But he added that his own skills are equally at par with Nadeshot.

In the follow-up question Daltoosh was asked to give his views on Dr Disrespect’s golfing skills. Answering it he said, “Doc? Yeah, he can kick my a** but he’s not better at golf than me.” This answer left many fans laughing and humored.

Dr Disrespect is yet to respond to the comment made by the TSM streamer. But meanwhile fans have shared their opinion. One fan has taken Dr’s side saying, “Can you believe this guy?!”Another fan praised the question raised by the interviewers while others showed surprise over Daltoosh’s take.

Riverhead Big Lots Is Closing Route 58 Store

The front entrance to Route 58 retail store now has signs announcing “STORE CLOSING”, “NOTHING HELD BACK”, and “ENTIRE STORE UP TO 20%”. There were even two designated storekeepers standing on the sidewalk of Route 58 holding the store closing sign this morning.

Their company spokesperson was not immediately available for comment. Representatives of the real estate agency in Queens that advertised the other two smaller rents in Staples Plaza (where Big Lots is situated) also weren’t reachable for comment.

The Big Lots was originally occupied by a permanent home store. The plaza was opened in the 1980s. Later on the space got occupied by Ultimate Fitness East. They moved out in the summer of 2013. In that fall, a store of Big Lots launched there.

Big Lots is a publicly traded organization operating 1,422 stores in 48 states all across the U.S. The company’s investor relations website reveals.

The big box retailer is expected to showcase its third-quarter results to all its investors on Thursday. It has struggled in recent years, with its stock value plummeting more than $39 per share in the last five years to a sinking $4.14 per share yesterday.

Big Lots Inc. has seen a huge downturn in both its revenues as well as net income year after year in the fiscal year of 2023 so far. In January, the company announced that it would close some stores in its larger urban markets in California and Colorado.

Taylor Swift Sings ‘Say Don’t Go’ ‘It’s Time To Go’ Live At The Final Eras Tour Show

Taylor Swift has put together a collection of theme songs for the final Eras Tour concert she is set to play in 2023.

The São Paulo crowd in Brazil chanted “Reputation” during Swift’s acoustic set on Sunday, November 26. But they did not get any Reputation surprise songs.

Instead she performed ‘Say Don’t Go’ and ‘It’s Time To Go’ treating them to the live renditions of both for the first time. This was the 13th international date of The Eras Tour. It was the last date until the tour is set to resume in February 2024.

The emotionally charged number that Swift debuted live with a guitar was co-written with Diane Warren and it was released in October as a vault track in 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

After that the concert debut of ‘It’s Time To Go’, co-written with Aaron Dessner came, featured on the deluxe version of 2020’s Evermore, on piano. Swift has been performing two surprise songs every night of the Tour, avoiding any repeats.

She addressed her fans at the last day of the tour, saying, “This has been the most magical adventure of my life. We find ourselves on the last night of The Eras Tour 2023. This tour is something that I thought of because I really wanted to celebrate all the times you guys have been there for me, and put together a show that incorporated all my favorite memories of touring — and I’ve been touring most of my life. I love traveling through these memories with you.”

Sam Altman, the previous CEO of OpenAI, returns after he was overthrown from the company by the last board members, including D’Angelo. Even though there was no specific information given as to why Altman was fired from the company, he is being hired back.

The decision taken by the board of directors of OpenAI last Friday shocked the Artificial Intelligence industry, especially because it was Altman who was the face and one of the company’s co-founders.

The startup organization, OpenAI, faced internal conflict as another co-founder, Greg Brockman, resigned as the president. Furthermore, a board member and fellow co-founder of OpenAI posted on X about how he deeply regretted his decision to fire Sam Altman from his position as CEO.

The post on the social media platform seemed like a mending of the bridge and trying to bring him back to the company. With all these developments among the senior management, the 770 startup employees also brazenly signed a letter.

In the letter, the employees called for the previous CEO Altman’s return and the previous board’s resignation. On the other hand, Microsoft’s approach to hiring Altman might not be happening anymore after this development.

The CEO Satya Nadella at Microsoft announced on Monday on X about the joining of Altman and Brockman to a new advanced team. Considering Microsoft is one of the largest investors of OpenAI, they believe that Altman will be working for them under any condition.

He also confirmed that he is open to Altman going back to OpenAI as long as the board’s problems at OpenAI are resolved along with the smooth governance of the organization. Taylor Swift Postpones Rio Concert Following Fan’s Death: Safety Concerns

Taylor Swift announced the cancellation of her Rio concert amid safety concerns. The high temperatures are also posing as a threat. The statement comes a night after a fan 23-year old Ana Clara Benevides Machado passed away before the singer’s era tour. It was held at Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Swift posted on her Instagram stories, saying, “I’m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium. The decision has been made to postpone tonight’s show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio. The safety and wellbeing of my fans, fellow performers, and crew has to, and always will, come first.”

The temperatures prevalent in Rio have become a cause for concern. There have been several concerns about the conditions at the concert venue. On Friday, the temperatures reached a height of 35 degrees Celcius in Rio. Swift fans raided the stadium to watch Swift. Video footage from the concert saw Swift perform in front of a crowd of 60,000. It also shows how water was distributed with the music stopping momentarily.

“If somebody says they need water when it’s this hot, they really need it.” Swift was recorded to have said so.

Rio de Janeiro’s Mayor Eduardo Paes spoke on the issue, “The loss of a young woman’s life yesterday at the show in Engenhão is unacceptable. Obviously, we are still finding out more details about the circumstances of what happened,” he wrote. “In any case, I have already ordered the municipality’s Executive Chief of Operations to demand action with the production of the show.”

Brazil’s National Consumer Secretary, Wadih Damous, also spoke out following Benevides Machado’s death. He said, “In addition to the Distribution of free water, through ‘hydration islands,’ which are easily accessible and visible to the public, bottles will be allowed for personal use.”

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards are here and the winners are going countryside.

Presented by Marriott Bonvoy the annual music awards show aired on Sunday. It was viewable through BBMAs.watch and Taylor Swift won big with nominations in 20 categories.

SZA and Morgan Wallen tied for second-most number of nominations with 17 each. The Weeknd has had 16 nominations and Drake was a finalist in 14 categories. Zach Bryan came close with 13 awards.

This year’s show also added nine new categories, namely- top Hot 100 songwriter, top Hot 100 producer, top rock duo/group, top global K-pop artist, top K-pop tour, top K-pop album, top global K-pop song, top Afrobeats artist and top Afrobeats song.

Performers who made for a spectacular show at the 2023 BBMAs included Mariah Carey, Tate McRae, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, Stray Kids, Karol G, NewJeans, Peso Pluma and Morgan Wallen. But who won?
